A few tips-
In general, a "bundle" or "kit" usually includes lenses or other accessories that are just ok. Don't get sucked in by the extra "value" they seem to add. The kit lenses that come with cameras are useful in some situations, but inevitably you'll be wanting to add other lenses later.
Buy used or refurbished! If you are eBay savvy, you can get a great deal on someone's Christmas present from last year that they never ended up using. :)
